Preformed bite rims to be positioned on the base plate to favour the measurement of the vertical height and centric occlusion. Made up of two wax layers of different colours and consistencies. The yellow top layer for mastication, which is 3 mm. thick, is soft and heats easily. The red bottom layer, which is 7 mm. thick, is hard and is fitted to the loose plate.
